Gregory A. Hoyer

Mr. Hoyer received his Bachelors Degree in Public Policy with a concentration in Business Administration from the University of Charleston in 2000.  After completion of his studies, Mr. Hoyer became the Assistant Director of Academic Solutions, a family-owned and operated center that provides supplemental education to elementary and high school aged students in Metro Atlanta Georgia.

Upon returning to West Virginia to pursue a career in government and politics, Mr. Hoyer served as a clerk in the 76th and 77th West Virginia Legislatures under the Honorable Gregory M. Gray, Clerk of the West Virginia House of Delegates and The Honorable Jon Amores, Chairman of the West Virginia House of Delegates Committee on the Judiciary.  He is a former member of the American Society of Legislative Clerks.

Mr. Hoyer’s political and campaign experience includes serving on the Democratic National Convention Rules Committee in 2008.  He has held several senior level positions on statewide and Congressional campaigns including Deputy Political Director for President Barack Obama in the 2008 West Virginia primary and as the Coordinated Campaign Director for the West Virginia Democratic Party in the 2008 general election campaign.  Most recently Mr. Hoyer served as the Campaign Director for Congressman Nick Joe Rahall during his 2010 reelection.      

Mr. Hoyer has worked as a Government Affairs consultant and Legislative Liaison for LGCR Government Solutions since 2005.  He has nearly ten years of government experience working extensively on behalf of clients on the federal, state and local levels.
